Most plastering jobs we see start with something else. A new window goes in and the reveal needs finishing. An electrician chases a wall and leaves it rough. An old ceiling has cracks running across it that no amount of filler will hide. A good skim sorts all of those and gives you a flat wall ready for paint.
We cover the floors and furniture before we start and clean up when we finish. Fresh plaster needs time to dry before it is painted, so we will tell you how long to leave it and what to put on it first.
Outside, we repair cracked or blown render so water does not get in behind it. If we are already fitting your windows or doors, we can make good around them at the same time, which saves you finding a second tradesman.

Do you skim over old artex?
Yes. We can skim over most artex ceilings and walls to leave a flat finish ready for paint.
How long before I can paint new plaster?
It depends on the room and the weather, but usually a few days. We will tell you when it is ready and what to put on first.
Can you make good around new windows?
Yes. If we fit your windows or doors, we can plaster the reveals at the same time.
